💡 Usage Tips

  • Bill parts on their own line — "Materials: faucet cartridge + washers" — so the client sees parts vs labour
  • Hourly job: qty = hours, rate = hourly price. Fixed job: qty = 1, rate = the agreed flat fee
  • Add a call-out or travel line if you charge one, so short jobs don't look overpriced
  • Sign with your name — you are the contractor billing the homeowner or property manager

❓ FAQ

How many line items can I add?

The form fits three lines — split labour, materials and call-out across them. For longer jobs, list materials as one bundled line.

Should I send an estimate first?

For anything beyond a quick fix, yes. Send our Service Estimate before the job, then invoice the actual hours.

Do I have to charge tax?

Taxability and registration duties depend on the service, location and business circumstances. Check whether you must register or collect tax before setting the rate; a zero rate is not a determination that no tax is due.

Is this template legal or tax advice?

No. These templates are for general business record-keeping only. They are not legal, tax, or professional advice. Consult a qualified advisor for compliance in your jurisdiction.
